Graeme Hopkins, Landscape Architect Architect & Author.
Graeme Hopkins is a Visiting Research Fellow (University of Adelaide), a Registered Landscape Architect and Registered Architect. He is a director of Fifth Creek Studio, with a focus on developing a sustainable urban environment using natural systems and ecological habitats, including integration of green roofs and living walls. He received a Churchill Fellowship in 2005 to study green roofs and living walls in North America, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. He recently presented a paper at the World Green Roof Congress in London. His book, Living Architecture: Green roofs and living walls, co-authored with Christine Goodwin, has recently been released. South Australian based Fifth Creek Studio is undertaking various collaborative research and prototype projects with the state’s three universities, several state government departments and private enterprise, including development of a new hybrid living wall system. These projects are interlinked to address city climate change adaptation through green infrastructure.
