Penelope Smith, Grow Media Researcher, Sydney.

Penelope studied a bachelor of Horticultural Science at the University of Western Sydney. She moved to the UK to work as a researcher on Channel 4 “Real Gardens” and then BBC 2 “Gardeners’ World”. Back in Australia, Penelope carried out further study at Richmond TAFE in Horticulture while working in Garden Centres. Penelope has worked for The Hills Bark Blower for 8 years. She has overseen the landscape research and development budget as a part of her responsibilities as well as carrying out countless construction site visits and is now The Hills Bark Blower Marketing Manager. She is interested in sustainable practises in Green roof installation as they relate to the landscape supplies sector.
