8th Making Cities Liveable Conference 2015 - Liveable Cities for the Futures

When:
Mon, 06/07/2015 to Tue, 07/07/2015
Where:
Melbourne, VIC, Australia

The 8th Making Cities Liveable Conference will be held from  the 6 – 7 July 2015.  With Melbourne  being named the world’s most liveable city for the fourth year in a row, it is  only fitting that the 2015 conference is being held at Pullman Melbourne on the Park.

2015 will be our 8th Annual Conference, continuing our  support for improving the quality of life in our capitals and major regional  cities. You are invited to join us as we continue our focus on healthy,  sustainable, resilient cities as we address the conference theme, Liveable Cities for the Future.

Australians enjoy some of the most liveable cities in the  world.  However the future and  liveability of our cities face a number of challenges in the next 10 years.  Delegates and speakers are invited to come  together as we address these issues of increase populations demands, affordable  and adequate housing, transport and mobility, job disbursement, resource  management, public health and planning for an ageing population.

With three-quarters of Australians living in 18 major cities,  the way cities are developed is vitally important to accommodate future growth  and change. The conference will examine the challenges, opportunities, trends  and issues currently facing cities and future development.
