Growing Green Guide: A guide to green roofs. walls and facades in Melbourne and Victoria, Australia

A new guide for green roofs, walls and facades has been released with technical advice, research findings and case studies.  The Growing Green Guide is targeted to Melbourne and Victoria and includes species that might be suitable for growing on or around your building and checklists for maintenance and site analysis. The guide stresses the need for good design at the outset, quality construction and a commitment to on-going maintenance. The guide is a result of more than two years work across several inner Melbourne councils (Inner Melbourne Action Plan) along with the University of Melbourne, industry professionals and the Victorian state government.
