Darling Quarter has been in a redevelopment phase since 2012. New buildings have been completed and the Darling Quarter which is a public green space adjacent to Darling Harbour foreshore infrastructure which includes pedestrian paths, cycle paths, entertainment and eateries. 

The final stages have been completed so there is now public access from Central Railway station via the new Goods Line to the parks and green amenity of Darling Quater and beyond to the Barangaroo Headland Reserve.

As part of the Quarter development there is a new Entertainmant Centre for music and other events. The building has a green roof with native grasses providing SW management, understory habitat and insulation benefits. (see images)

The green infrastructure components for the area are rain gardens, recycled water features, swales, canopy trees and path landscaping.
