Rain Gardens - Low Impact Development

Low Impact Development (LID)/green infrastructure education is almost non existent in Australia. Education on natural systems  needs to be combined with urban planning, engineering and architecture basics. It is so essential for professionals in landscape architecture, planninng, engineering and design to understand how LID can manage storm water peak flow run-off  at the source, being roofs & impermeable surfaces which can have large impacts in the natural and built systems.
